words words words

Hey, ever notice how everything on my blog is about Garrett. Sorry, I know he is sooooooo cute-at least I think so-but it is time to have something about Mark and Me.

I am really starting to feel comfortable with my day to day role. At first I felt like I worried about knowing how to take care of Garrett, now though, I think I know how to take care of anything that guy dishes out.

I absolutly love it in the sunshine here! Sometimes I grab a blanket and lay outside under my tree outside and almost fully relax-I do have a little one trying to eat rocks around me. I have a walking buddy and I'm enjoying the energy I get from staying in shape (I am looking for advice on how to firm up my tummy, I can't tell if I too lazy or if there are some tricks I don't know yet)

I'm on the 7th book in the Wheel of Time. I have to say all of the many charactors are confusing me, but I can't put it down cause I have to find out what happens next.

Mark is learning the ins and outs of teaching. He is a wiz at putting together lessons and tests. He was nominated for a new teacher of the year award. I'm so proud of him.

He is currantly teaching the track team and looking forward to the baseball team in a bit.

He is way into Harry Potter. We just read all the books, that is him reading in the background of Garrett's walking video. He is rereading them for himself again to catch things he missed the first time, and not to mention enjoying the videos. I'm sure we will be there opening week for the new movie.

Hopefully these tidbits have been fun. I love all you guys and hope you are well.

It's great things are going so well for you! and Garrett is super cute (not just to you! :)) Kudos to you for getting out and staying in shape! I don't have enough time for that and I don't even have kids yet, haha!

It's neat how people can get used to just about anything. I used to feel so scared about being a mom too and having no idea what I was doing. Now it feels totally normal! Amazing! I'm SO glad we get to see you guys next week. Mike was into the Wheel of Time books too, but he heard that after the 6th book, they get boring and crappy, so he stopped reading them and just read the plot summaries online. We love Harry Potter too! It's been a while since I've read them though. Anywho... Garrett is way cute! See you soon.
