Lucas #1 Birthday

We had a cute little party for Lucas on Sunday. Some of our neighbors came over to play. Lucas opened presents first cause Garrett couldn't wait another second for him to open the elephant that shoots balls out its nose. Garrett helped with wrapping gifts, making cupcakes and even cleaning up the room and blowing up balloons. Lucas loved it. And so did I.

Spud Day

Thanks to Dad and Julie for meeting up with us to enjoy Spud day this year. We watched a parade and ate way to much candy. Spent forever in line for some fair food. Looked at booths and paid for one expensive train ride. Some of my favorite parts of the day that I didn't get pics of include. The airplane dropping ping pong balls. Garrett's face lighting up at the simplest things. No pics of Dad or Julie??? Where did they go? Here are pics of the other stuff.

summer time yet?

This is Hiccup. Yes he is named after a popular cartoon charactor who flies on dragons. A friend of mine rescued him so that they would have someone to warn them/bark at strangers. Let's just say that he isn't that fearsome so we took him to our home for free. Wooo hoooo! He is getting used to our home and we love him.

Lucas was fussy so I put on some music that he likes. I noticed that he enjoied the rythm so I started playing for him and he started giggling

Lost computer/camera cord

I lost my cord that downloads my pictures onto my computer so I have quite a bit to catch up on. . . Here goes

Here is what a typical laundry day looks like in my house. The bed is full of cute boys laughing and I'm on the floor folding, and making sure they don't tackle each other, or drool on each other, or jump off the bed.

Kisses for the bear. Actually he is trying to stick him in his mouth but it looks like a kiss to me.

I painted Tayla's toes (a friend of Garrett's) and he had to be in on the fun. Now I can't stop him, he loves putting colors on his toes. I'm in big trouble. At least I can add this to the file of embarrassing pictures to show to his girl friends.

Having quiet time with friends. Nobody slept but then again nobody was screaming either, so it was a success.

Here is Garrett pretend swimming. Whenever I tell him we can't do something (like swimming in winter) he asks for "just pretend." It was interesting getting that suit over his clothes.
