words words words

Hey, ever notice how everything on my blog is about Garrett. Sorry, I know he is sooooooo cute-at least I think so-but it is time to have something about Mark and Me.

I am really starting to feel comfortable with my day to day role. At first I felt like I worried about knowing how to take care of Garrett, now though, I think I know how to take care of anything that guy dishes out.

I absolutly love it in the sunshine here! Sometimes I grab a blanket and lay outside under my tree outside and almost fully relax-I do have a little one trying to eat rocks around me. I have a walking buddy and I'm enjoying the energy I get from staying in shape (I am looking for advice on how to firm up my tummy, I can't tell if I too lazy or if there are some tricks I don't know yet)

I'm on the 7th book in the Wheel of Time. I have to say all of the many charactors are confusing me, but I can't put it down cause I have to find out what happens next.

Mark is learning the ins and outs of teaching. He is a wiz at putting together lessons and tests. He was nominated for a new teacher of the year award. I'm so proud of him.

He is currantly teaching the track team and looking forward to the baseball team in a bit.

He is way into Harry Potter. We just read all the books, that is him reading in the background of Garrett's walking video. He is rereading them for himself again to catch things he missed the first time, and not to mention enjoying the videos. I'm sure we will be there opening week for the new movie.

Hopefully these tidbits have been fun. I love all you guys and hope you are well.

Garrett is Walking!!!

It is amazing to watch him go from just a few steps to walking across the room. Watch out world here comes the Garrett!

life is good

Life with this little boy has been helping me to see the fun/good in everyday. Garrett has learned that he can scream. He loves the AHhhh sound and will have shouting time with mommy or daddy or whoever is willing. He has helped me have fun with rocks, trucks, puppies, and just being outside. He is the sunshine in my life.
Here is the other funshine in my life. . .look at that great goatie he grew just cause I wanted to see what it looked like. I like it . . .

I've perfected the picture of myself taking. I like it that we both look like we are so happy.

We got to play in Daddy's classroom. Garrett ran around in the open and enjoyed the basketball hoop.

Just Kidding

Hey all, we were talking over the whole turning off the internet thing and decided not to . . .hehehe so I'll still be updating this thing every now and again.

Funny how the internet has become such a big part of my life. At least this way I can feel close to friends and family that are far away. Love to everyone!!

PS I want to hear all the sleep advice from you parents. Don't get me wrong Garrett is great. He usually goes down by 7:00 all by himself, but he wakes up for a bottle 2-3 times a night still. It seems like he could be pushed a little bit more for mommy's sake. Any thoughts . . .
